Music MiniPlayer

Iā€™m all about retro, but when iTunes 10 is now classed as retro, the world is spinning far too fast.

Mario Guzman, has recreated the much loved classic MiniPlayer found in iTunes as a stand alone remote for the Music.app on Macs running macOS Big Sur or newer.

Music MiniPlayer, allows full control over the Music app, with only the essential buttons needed whilst adding some extra features too.

By clicking the play button in the display area, the Playlist draw slides down, allowing you full access to all your favourite music, along with the shuffle and repeat buttons.

All the song information scrolls along the central marquee area, including screaming information from Apple Music channels and adapting the display to show the relevant information.

Within the preferences you can set the music player to float above all windows, in true iTunes style.

Its been a great addition to my work day having some small at the top of my screen displaying song information and quick controls without having to open up the Music App.
