AirTag 2.0.36 Update

Apple has released a new firmware update for AirTag - 2.0.36

Whilst Apple don’t release any information on the firmware updates for AirTag, and you can’t force an update. The AirTag will update if you leave it within Bluetooth range of your iPhone.

In the recent iPadOS 16.2 update there is mention for tracking notifications on iPad, which we’ve seen on the iPhone since iOS 14.5.

To check your AirTag firmware version, within Find My, press on me battery level (good point in check its level) and the firmware is displayed. You can also find its serial number too here.
