Airbuddy

The magical Apple Ecosystem just works will little thinking from the user, AirPods seamlessly switch between iPhone and iPad - pop up on AppleTV’s as being near by, but on Mac’s it seems to be a little clunky.

AirBuddy fixes this, and gives a lot more - for me my favourite feature is showing battery levels and charge status of pretty much anything apple with a bluetooth connection, but the Halo feature is the Pop up charged warning. - the single most action of destroying battery life is leaving a device on charge once its full.

Now shortcuts automation can fix this, with the aid of smart plug -but a little pop up to unplug your phone, iPad or AirPods is brilliant. Talking of shortcuts Airbuddy can be used within the Apple Shortcuts app too.

If you’re lucky enough to have two Mac’s sharing the same iCloud account with Airbuddy installed you can pass mouse or keyboard connections between the two, using the magic handoff feature.
Right click on the item in the menu and select transfer too.
